Job Summary: This position reports directly to the Vice President of Human Resources st Region, with a dotted line to the Executive Vice President/General Manager for the state of New York. This role is strategic in nature; however, it is imperative that the incumbent has a solid understanding of HRIS, as well as all HR processes and programs specific to the division. This includes the ability to step in and support direct reports in all facets of their role. Travel throughout the state of New York is required; in addition, there will be occasional travel requirements to the corporate offices in Florida and Texas.
Job Requirements This position is responsible for aligning the people strategy of the division to the business objectives with employees and management across the division. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related matters, acting as an employee champion, change agent, and steward of the Company. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, while communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management. The position forges partnerships across functions to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The role maintains a solid understanding of the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition. Ensure all work is done with a focus on the CompanyAMILY values, as well as servant leadership principles.
Essential Functions · Develops relationships with key stakeholders and union leaders.
· Consults with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
· Develops direct reports to ensure HR for HR learning and growth is continuous.
· Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop proactive solutions, programs and policies.
· Manages and resolves complex employee/labor relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.
· Must have thorough understanding of all facets of labor/union relations and the ability to partner with union leadership and company leadership alike.
· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
· Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
· Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
· Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
· Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs, and partners with the Centers of Excellence (Learning & Development, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition) to ensure all team members are provided development opportunities and career paths.
· Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
· Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong command of English grammar.

Qualifications Supervisory Responsibility
This position has direct reports, as well as requires the ability to coach and mentor leaders across the division.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and occasional weekend work as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily within the state of New York, although some out-of-state travel will be required.
Required Education and Experience · Bacheloregree and a minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience resolving complex employee and labor relations issues.
· 8 to 10 yearsperience managing Human Resources professionals in a supervisory capacity
· Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational effectiveness and design, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
· Hands on experience and capability providing strategic support to managers of unionized and nonunionized employees required
· Large company HR experience in a COE / Shared Services environment
· Proven ability to provide executive coaching and partnership with senior business leadership
Preferred Education and Experience
· Masteregree and beverage alcohol industry experience.
· Bilingual: English and Spanish
· SHRM certification
