Our client, a Prominent Patent Analysis Software Firm, is seeking an experienced, analytically skilled attorney to serve as their next Vice President of Analytics, and to be a part of their executive management team.
About the Role - Managing and collaborating with a team of data engineers and analysts working with the firm's patent industry data
- Leading the collection of data from public sources and proprietary studies
- Developing data analyses for the firm's clients, publications, and events
- Providing data-based guidance on critical internal business issues that informs the company's direction and strategy
- Providing counsel and insights internally and externally on the significance and impact of patent law and policy changes
- Liaise with policymakers and academic researchers seeking the firm's data and support
- Partnering with Marketing team representing the firm at internal and external events and speaking with media
About You - 4 years of experience in the patent litigation and licensing industry
- 4 years of analytical experience via engineering, statistics, or a similar quantitative field
- Juris Doctorate
- Highly skilled in data analysis and visualization tools and languages (e.g., PostgreSQL, Navicat, Tableau)
- Strong competency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Knowledge and experience in patent litigation and/or patent licensing
- Demonstrated quantitative ability
- Well-developed leadership skills, including ability to inform senior management and influence timely decisions
- Results driven and service-minded with ability to develop and cultivate relationships with key partners both internally and externally
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment and execute against deliverables under deadlines and challenging priorities
- Highly focused, organized, and with a keen attention to detail
- Articulate communication skills, both oral and written
