Job Description: The Regulatory Management team for Corporate & CIB Risk is a centralized resource that manages regulatory exams, chairs meetings with regulators, and coordinates responses to regulatory inquiries. Working directly with regulators and JPMC colleagues, the Vice President in the team will coordinate Risk's responses to exams; field, direct, and respond to ad hoc regulatory inquiries; plan and chair regulatory meetings; and develop and prepare reports for senior management.
He/she will gain exposure to a broad spectrum of regulatory issues and topics as they affect Risk and will regularly interact with other functions and lines of business within JPMC.
Specifically, the Vice President on the team will:
Plan and chair key meetings between Risk and regulators
Manage regulatory examinations of CIB and Corporate Risk, overseeing activities from receipt of the First Day Letter through management's written response to supervisory findings
Interact directly with regulators, fielding and clarifying requests and delivering appropriate and consistent responses
Partner with other lines of business within JPMorgan Chase
Work with Compliance, Legal, and Audit, among other teams, to ensure regulatory matters are handled appropriately and consistently
Develop and prepare senior management reporting highlighting regulatory activity
Maintain thorough and accurate records of exams in progress, recurring meetings, and MIS reporting provided to regulators
Requirements At least 2 years' experience in Risk, and/or in a related Control function, preferred
Knowledge of regulators' exam processes and/or background in regulatory matters a plus
Ability to perform under pressure with a commitment to deliver under tight deadlines
Ability to build effective working relationships and interact comfortably with regulators and with a wide spectrum of colleagues
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to self-edit and respond effectively to regulators and to JPMC management
Attention to detail and commitment to doing quality work in a comprehensive manner
Keen interest in policy, governance, and regulations
Strong technical skills - PowerPoint, Word, Excel
