The Private Banking Group (PBG) Marketing team (part of Wealth Management Marketing) focuses on driving awareness, adoption and engagement with Cash Management and Lending solutions. This group is broadly responsible for marketing campaigns, branding, digital communications, strategic initiatives, and partnering with sales to drive growth for the Banking business.
Position Summary: Wealth Management Marketing is seeking a Vice President to lead and promote significant growth in client digital adoption of Morgan Stanley online and mobile platforms. In addition this position will manage marketing initiatives for high profile digital platform launches. The candidate should have experience in the Financial Industry, particularly in Wealth Management. The candidate should have demonstrated skills in Strategy Development, Digital Marketing, Copy Writing and Editing, and Managing external and in-house creative services/agencies. Additionally, this individual will work collaboratively with data analytics, legal, compliance, finance and other cross-functional partners to ensure all stakeholders are informed of upcoming initiatives.
Responsibilities: -Set the marketing strategy for Morgan Stanley Online and Mobile and provide marketing leadership, owning adoption and engagement planning
-Develop and optimize a data-driven multi-channel engagement model including developing journeys, clear/engaging content, copy and visuals, and tactics across marketing levers (emails, banners, social media messages, thought leadership articles etc.) to drive usage and adoption.
-Perform post-mortem analysis on all marketing initiatives correlating marketing activities to business performance
-Create a culture of continuous improvement by defining objectives and tracking results on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to inform marketing tactics and drive to revenue targets
-Transform ideas, business opportunities, research and creative vision into tangible experiences that provide clear, usable, useful and desirable outcomes for the Product and Digital teams
-Partner across Wealth Management Marketing and Digital Platforms teams to develop and execute innovative cross-platform marketing campaigns to drive FA and client engagement
-Lead, develop and project manage digital marketing initiatives and working group discussions with stakeholders and cross-functional partners for Morgan Stanley Online and Mobile, Cybersecurity and Fraud, Advisor Desktop and Mobile, digital self-service program launches and more.
-Work closely with legal, compliance and registered principals to ensure all materials are approved for Financial Advisors and Client use
-Manage vendor and partner relationships to ensure deliverables and deadlines are met
-Partner closely to obtain marketing metrics to track performance
-Create presentations for senior management meetings, monthly partner updates, quarterly marketing metrics report and quarterly business reviews
Qualifications Knowledge and Skills Required: -BA or BS degree; concentration in Digital Marketing and Communications is a plus
-Ideally 8-12 years of marketing experience, preferably in the Digital domain
-Experience with executing comprehensive marketing plans across multiple marketing channels
-Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and written communication skills
-Comfortable working with multiple functional groups and managing complex processes
-Expert proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
