Job Title: Regional Vice President of Operations
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Business Unit: Contract Skilled Nursing Division
JOB SUMMARY: The Regional Vice President of Operations has responsibility for directing the operations of multiple site contract therapy practices. The Regional Vice President of Operationsis responsible for achieving specific financial, employee relations, customer service, and patient care objectives through leading and directing Rehab Directors, Rehab Managers and therapists. Objectives will be achieved within the value system of Broad River Rehab and with the ultimate objective of creating value for our constituents.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
Customer relations.
Customer initiated contract turnover.
Employee turnover.
Gross margin dollars and margin percentage.
Therapist productivity and efficiency.
Compliance
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish and manage overall customer and payer relationships.
Identify and meet customer/payer service standards and objectives.
Establish sales and growth objectives with the CEO, COO and participate in the sales and marketing process.
Establish annual business plan.
Participate with the Chief Operating Officer in the establishment of an annual budget.
Participate in acquisitions and/or acquisition integration when appropriate.
Direct recruiting activities including approval of open positions and assignment of priorities, to achieve staffing and growth objectives and minimize contractor usage.
Ensure gross margin objectives are met through effective productivity and efficiency management.
Ensure corporate reporting requirements are met.
Represent Broad River Rehab in a professional and appropriate manner.
Follow established protected health information (PHI) policies to prevent privacy or security breaches. If breach identified, report to Broad River Rehab Corporate Management.
Ensure that Broad River Rehab"s corporate initiatives are supported within its operating units.

CREDENTIALS:
Therapy-related degree.
Minimum of 5 years" experience in management within a healthcare setting.
Demonstrated success in managing profitability in a business unit with annual sales of up to $5 million.
Demonstrated ability to lead an organization.
