Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university is preferred or equivalent education/training and at least ten years experience in financial management witha banking background. Must be extremely knowledgeable with banking and credit union regulatory requirements. The applicant must have a highly successful proven sales record and must have a minimum of three years recent supervisory experience.
The Branch Vice President will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the credit union's business development activities. They must promote growth of the credit union by attracting new and maintaining existing business relationships. Branch Vice Presidents are responsible for all aspects of their assigned branch (both operations and sales). May be assigned more than one branch. As staffing levels dictate, Branch Vice Presidents will perform all operational and platform duties, including members' transactions normally conducted at a teller window, accepting and processing all types of loan applications, compiling loan packages, opening new accounts, and handling member inquiries and complaints.
The Branch Vice President is responsible to ensure their branch or branches consistently meet or exceed the assigned production goals and is ultimately responsible for the branch's operational integrity.
