Advisian is a leading provider of Power services. We provide world class technical and advisory services in both the New Energy (Distributed Energy, Solar, Hydro, Wind) and Traditional Power markets.
Our team includes world class technical experts and dynamic go-getters. We offer the opportunity to undertake projects that range from the smallest consultancy to world scale developments. The Service Line Lead position is a full-time role based in one of our North America offices.
The Service Line Vice President is a critical role as it is the key intersection between our clients, our project execution and Advisian business expectations.
Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
Provide visible Health, Safety and Environment leadership for our people and our clients;
Support development and implementation of strategic growth for Advisian Americas with specific focus on the Power Service Line;
Develop and deliver the Service Line budget while maintaining a focus on providing value to our clients and opportunities for our people;
Actively collaborate across Service Lines within Advisian and across Business Lines within the global WorleyParsons business;
Build and maintain an engaged team including hiring, training and other development activities;
Provide guidance for the technical disciplines within the Power Service Line;
Monitor project execution to ensure Advisian and Client expectations are being met
Participate actively and effectively in key business development activities including managing client relationships, presentations, contract negotiations, proposal preparation/writing etc.; and
Travel as required.
Qualifications Qualifications Undergraduate degree or an equivalent qualification in engineering, science or business from an accredited post-secondary institution
10+ years of experience working within the Power or related Sectors providing engineering, technical and/or advisory services
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively - excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrable experience in:
- managing and delivering budgets and forecasting
- identifying talent and leading people
- understanding market trends and setting strategy
- delivering successful technical and commercial project outcomes
- engaging with clients and developing new opportunities in key markets.
This role covers our North America business and as such, candidates must be willing and able to travel as the role requires.
