General Purpose: Seeking a full time Vice President to oversee engagements valuing debt, equity, and intangible assets of closely held and publicly traded companies. The Vice President is responsible for providing guidance and training to entry level analysts and will work on a variety of assignments in numerous industries.
Major Duties and Responsibilities: Overseeing the engagement process which includes interacting with the client, project management, analysis, as well as managing analysts and senior analysts who are responsible for developing financial models, performing economic and industry research, and creating presentations and reports that are submitted to our clients. Our services are utilized for many purposes including:
Financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
Purchase price allocation (SFAS 141) and goodwill impairment studies (SFAS 142)
Employee stock ownership plans
Mergers and acquisitions
Fairness and solvency opinions
Estate and gift taxation
Intellectual property disputes
Shareholder disputes
Property taxation
Feasibility studies
Financing purposes
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced/Intermediate understanding of valuation concepts, financial theory and general accounting issues
Ability to train and motivate staff
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills (primarily Excel and Word)

Education and/or Training:
Minimum 5 years experience in valuation
4-year degree necessary, with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
