Job Description The Associate Vice President is responsible to the Vice President for Enrollment and Academic Services for the enrollment management operations of the university. Represents the Division at the University level in the areas of enrollment management issues. Participate in all Division strategies related to enrollment management issues. Develop guidelines and coordinate the colleges on enrollment processes. Responsible for establishing and implementing an enrollment management plan.
Required Education and Experience: - Bacheloregree.
- Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in enrollment management to include five years in a supervisory capacity.
Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Responsibilities: - Develop and implement a strategic enrollment management plan for the university, inclusive of recruitment, retention, and graduation of students at all levels with focus on elevating the academic quality and socioeconomic diversity of enrollment.
- Establish university recruitment and retention plans for targeted students including high academic performers, underrepresented minorities, out of state students, and veterans.
- Facilitate admission processes, including distance education, across the university, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and university policies and rules, including providing guidance and cataloging processes across the university.
- Facilitate processes that identify barriers as well as opportunities for enhancing retention and on-time graduation, coordinating with colleges and Associate Provost offices.
- Engage external and internal constituents, fostering communication strategies, forming partnerships with high schools, community colleges, and applicable community and higher education organizations, and advancing the university through enrollment efforts.
- Research and understand enrollment related issues around access, affordability, completion, and admission and financial aid policies.
- Monitor enrollment trends for all colleges and identify potential strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate with DARS and others to publish enrollment related information for various constituents.
- Oversight of the following offices: Admissions, Recruitment, International Student Services, Scholarships & Financial Aid, Registrar, Career Center, and Enrollment Analytics.
- Build collaboration with branch campuses, colleges, Undergraduate Studies, Graduate and Professional Studies, Student Affairs, and Marketing & Communications.
- Liaison to Enrollment Management Operations Committee, coordinate agendas, and track follow-up as well as build collaborative opportunities to advance enrollment management functions.
- Work on special projects within the division.
- Represent the Vice President at meetings.
- Focus on professional development.
- Other duties as assigned.
