General Purpose
This position will be responsible for all aspects of financial and accounting systems management. This role will provide key leadership in corporate and operational financial functions, including financial and operational control; credit and collections; forecasting and analysis; cash flow; treasury; audit; and taxes.
Essential Duties and Tasks

- Maintain continuous lines of communication, keeping the divisional president and other key members of management team informed of all critical issues
- Responsibility for the development of the division's financial management strategy
- Direct and coordinate all aspects of division's financial planning, budgeting, cash flow and related matters
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget
- Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department
- Manage the preparation of all financial reports, including insuring integrity of all key data sources
- Maintain focus on customer and product margins/profitability, including management of customer pricing strategies
- Manage the preparation of all financial forecasts
- Prepare or manage preparation of all financial analyses related to contract negotiations and investment decisions
- Assist in establishing short and long-range divisional goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to accuracy/quality
- Mentor and develop staff using a supportive and collaborative approach: assign accountabilities; set objectives; establish priorities; monitor and evaluate results
- Coordinate with the management of the IT department to ensure company objectives are met
Qualifications, Education & Skills
- Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong Accounting experience
- Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in a mid to senior level finance or accounting position, and a CPA (preferred)
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections
- Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker
- Self-reliant, good problem solver, results-oriented
- Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes
