JOB SUMMARY: The Executive Assistant to the President at The Master Lock Company performs advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties requiring broad and comprehensive experience, along with a high level of professionalism and customer focus. This position will also draft internal and external communications and presentations. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic, a team player, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Judgement, flexibility, discretion and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in an appropriate manner is key.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide administrative support to the President of The Master Lock Company and the Sr Director of Strategy & Business Development.
- Responsible for managing multiple calendars, to include scheduling meetings, conflict resolution and pro-active planning
- Drafts communications, letters, memos, reports and general employee announcements
- Prepare and format presentations, reports, organizational charts, and meeting summaries as requested
- Plan, organize and provide budget control for various off-site meetings
- Coordination of domestic and international travel and preparation of Passport/Visa, travel itineraries and support binders
- Assists with managing key meetings and event planning (arrange conference rooms and sleeping rooms, catering, AV equipment, flights, ground transportation, dinners, entertainment activities).
- Manages projects of moderate complexity and special assignments
- Screens telephone calls and visitors, and resolves routine and complex inquiries
- Actively participates in corporate event planning and community involvement activities
- Improves quality results by studying, evaluating and re-designing processes; implements changes and seeks to continuously improve
- Process expense reports as a delegate in the expense reporting system and audit expense reports for direct reports of the President
- Coordinate the collection and generation of materials for monthly business reviews.
- Manages 3 other executive assistants, providing coaching, mentoring, performance feedback, and general leadership responsibilities, including hiring and disciplinary actions.

Required Experience: - Associates Degree and 7-10 years of administrative assistant experience; 5+ years supporting multiple, C-level executives preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint;
