The Area Vice President of Five Seasons Property Management-LLC, will have overall responsibility for the operations of businesses as assigned by the Chief Operating Officer. He/she will work directly with the existing COO to build an organization that delivers financial results and long term organic growth. This position will report directly to the COO of Five Seasons Property Management-LLC.
Primary Functions:
- Own and manage business P&L - overall accountability for profitability of the business
- Create and execute a multi-year strategic plan to deliver on-going revenue growth in the business
- Provide detailed, monthly briefings about business results and plans
- Maintain a 12 month rolling forecast of revenue and expense for the operation
- Analyze company cost reports, cost registers, equipment expenses and other weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
- Insure that safe work practices are followed consistently by all personnel under his/her supervision.
- Deal effectively with unions in conducting negotiations, handling grievances and maintaining a competitive, qualified workforce.
- Manage the companies assigned to them by the COO.
- Lead a management group of more than 10 and an enterprise of approximately 2,000 employees
- Supervise and coach managers
- Act as a mentor to high potential employees to ensure continued talent development within the organization
- Work with the division management team to establish long-term strategy for all product lines
- Manage partner relationships and act as an escalation point for customers
Minimum Qualifications: - Must have a Bachelor s Degree and a minimum of 4 years experience in the green industry.
- Must have strong knowledge and experience (minimum of 4 years) in industry-related functions and processes
- Must be willing to travel nationwide
- Must be willing to experiment with new ideas and to learn from prior experiences
- Must demonstrate excellent leadership skills
- Must possess outstanding written/verbal communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities
- Must possess excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills ility to de-construct problems
- Must be willing to relocate as required by Five Seasons.
