In fact, IDC predicts that unstructured data volume will hit 40 Zettabytes in 2020, up from 4.4 Zettabytes in 2013. Storing, managing, and extracting value from this sea of data is creating new challenges and customers are increasingly turning to Dell EMC for solutions.

Tens of thousands of customers have bet their business on UDS products including Isilon Scale-Out File Storage and ECS Object Storage. Moreover, Gartner has consistently recognized Dell EMC as the clear leader for Distributed File and Object Storage.
Job Description The VP, Product Management leads Dell EMCnstructured data management product strategy, planning and GTM enablement. He or she stewards a multi-billion dollar UDS product portfolio comprised of high growth products like Isilon Scale-Out Storage and ECS Object Storage. The VP, Product Management also leads the planning of disruptive next-generation offerings. The VP, Product Management is a senior member of the UDS executive team, reporting directly to the Product Group SVP/ GM. He or she leads a global team of approximately 60 product managers, solution architects and technical marketing engineers.
Key Responsibilities: - Build and evangelize UDShort-term and long-term product vision in close partnership with the Customers, Sales, CTO, and Engineering.
- Partners with global functional leaders to create future product roadmaps
- Lead the development of actionable requirements that enable customer workloads and business outcomes.
- Work closely with customers and partners to deeply understand requirements and anticipate market changes. Provide vision to spot industry shifts and inspire innovation.
- Mine data to make smarter product and GTM decisions.
- Benchmark industry to understand competitive positioning and best practices.
- Partner with sales, product marketing, channel, and shared service organizations to develop effective go-to-market strategies and enablement.
- Partner with Finance to craft the right pricing and licensing strategies.
- Makes key decisions on resourcing, capacity modeling and forecasts
- Inspire, motivate, and develop a team of top performing product managers and technical architects.
Required Experience: - 15+ years of product management experience
- 10+ years of experience building and leading product management teams that achieve the highest standards of performance
- Demonstrable thought leadership in Enterprise data management/ storage, ideally coupled with experience in cloud services and analytics technology.
- Deep experience creating visionary product strategies while balancing technical realities.
- Ability to impact and influence matrixed organizations to deliver on aggressive business goals.
- Proven ability to conceptualize and evangelize a vision internally and externally
- Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills; able to manage ambiguity and drive outcomes in complex organizational contexts.
- Proven passion/ ability for engaging with customers and landing needs into product development process.
