Your role will entail driving the sales strategy to increase market share by developing successful partnerships with Norcraft customers. More specifically, we will look for you to accelerate all aspects of Dealer Channel Sales in the eastern US region. As a collaborative leader, youbuild relationships across the business, including with our marketing team and other internal resources. Finally, as a leader of people, welook for you to mentor, train and optimize the regional sales team (3 direct reports) to ensure a high-energy, laser-focused team gets even stronger.

Position Summary: The Sales Area Vice President develops & executes data-driven area-sales strategy to drive profitability growth of the Norcraft Companies portfolio. This position leads all aspects of dealer channel sales in the eastern US region and is accountable for revenue and share growth targets. This is a supervisory role with direct field sales reports and reports to the Vice President, Sales for Norcraft Companies.
Key Accountabilities: - Develop market sales strategy, leveraging the entire Norcraft portfolio.
- Champion sales for area by focusing on assisting regional managers with priority accounts. Marshal and deploy resources to grow target accounts.
- Align resources with strategy, set clear expectations, and establish boundaries; manage performance.
- Create team atmosphere where team members work together in pursuit of a common mission.
- Encourage open communication, establish positive climate, align resources, and nurture commitment to the mission.
- Manage execution of strategic sales plan including prioritization of activities.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Share updates with key Norcraft stakeholders, including executive team, other Norcraft sales team members and channel partners.
- Effectively manage activities in common markets.
- Work with Dealer Sales & Operations Manager to develop accurate sales forecasts.
- Support Product, Brand and Channel Marketing Teams in strategic planning and program execution.
- Develop an effective field sales force.

Education & Experience: - Bacheloregree in business or related field
- 10-15 yearsperience in sales with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position
- Demonstrated record of strategic sales planning & profitable market growth
- Demonstrated consultative and data-driven selling skills
- Experience managing Channel Sales; Dealer-specific sales management preferred
- Must reside near a major airport in the Eastern or Central time zones (preferably Eastern)
