Executive Assistant to the President

To better support current backlog and the anticipated doubling of business over the next few years, Helix Electric has created a new position for a dynamic Executive Assistant to the President with strong financial analysis skills. With the ability to organize work and focus on priorities in a dynamic, fast paced, multi-project environment. Team player with a positive attitude, motivated and success driven.
Responsibilities and Duties: - Handle information of a highly confidential and critical nature appropriately.
- Assisting the President in tracking the key business metrics.
- Assist the President in generating and analyzing Business & Financial MIS, coordinating with various departments.
- Scanning & Analysis of industry peers and conduct new business research.
- Manage and ensure execution of specific assignments / projects initiated by the President.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of critical path projects in which the President is especially interested and/or for which his awareness and involvement is essential.
- Manage the Presidentalendar and ensure deadlines are being met; record meeting details and keep careful track of commitments and schedules.
- Serve as key liaison to internal and external VIPS/li>
- Develop project deliverables (presentations, status updates) in developing the organizationtrategy by performing analysis to deliver relevant and insightful management information, together with assisting in business planning and development.
- Preparation of presentations & reports for the President.
- Prepares and facilitates meetings involving the President and is accountable for ensuring that the meeting objectives are realistic, that preparation is appropriate, and that the President is well-prepared so that the Presidentime is leveraged most effectively in a meeting context.
Qualifications and Skills - Preferred MBA Finance with 5 to 9 years of experience in financial analysis, MIS, business analysis of projects / products / financial services of which at least 2 years as an Executive Assistant to a C-Level / President / Managing Director/Functional Head.
- At least 5 years supporting executive-level. Strong financial analysis experience with a BA in Finance or Accounting highly preferred.
- Articulate communicator. Team builder. Problem solving skills.
- Relationship building strategic vision and project planning presentation skills.
- Management collaboration, attention to detail, budget & cost control.
- Able to handle responsibilities with poise, ease and confidence.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills ensure that relevant stakeholders are kept apprised of project progress and challenges, while ensuring that the level of detail is appropriate for each audience.
- Equally capable of handling large, complex projects, as well as multitasking across a number of smaller ones, adapting management style to fit the situation.
- Tact, diplomacy, and persistence are essential qualities in executing this dimension of the role.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including intermediate-advanced skills with Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe Bluebeam is preferred.
- Ability to appropriately handle critical information and sensitive situations in a timely manner.
- Flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and shift priorities simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and customer service oriented.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
