Job Summary AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly motivated Assistant Vice President, Regional Practice Leader Strategy+ for immediate employment in the Atlanta, GA office.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- This person will be expected to successfully market and deliver a diverse range of business and design related services to clients at a C-suite / executive officer level
- They will be expected to grow the Strategy+ business regionally, through the combined use of national resources and the progressive hiring of new regional staff members
- They will be expected to build relationships across markets, disciplines and business lines within Buildings and Places (B+P), Design and Consulting Services, Americas (DCSA) and across the wider AECOM enterprise
- They will be expected to leverage skill in leading / managing multidisciplinary teams on complex projects at the intersection of business strategy, communications and place making
- Reporting to the Regional Business Line Leader (RBLL), but coordinating with Strategy+ National business line leader, this person will be expected to balance their regional role with contributions to the national Strategy+ practice in terms of thought leadership, marketing of other national pursuits and contributions to other regions projects
- They will be expected to create work plans, budgets and financial analysis for internal performance reporting, the development of prospects and the delivery of projects
- They will be expected to develop a thought leadership position and undertake conference presentations and develop material for publishing

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, Business or another relevant field
- 15+ years of related experience
- Demonstrated ability to grow a practice and meet planned revenue targets
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to lead workshops, focus groups and presentations with client's executive leadership
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, open, collaborative environment where a high degree of coordination with geographically disparate team mates is essential
- Experience in using design thinking to integrate and lead across a wide range of disciplines, including business strategy, workplace strategy, building design, communications and change management
- Experience in using design thinking to integrate and lead across a range of markets e.g. corporate, education, healthcare, sports, energy and transportation
- Excellent writing skills
- High degree of flexibility and the ability to work on multiple projects and prospects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree in Architecture, Planning, Design, Business or another relevant field
- Data analysis and visualization skills
- User research, design strategy, and space programming experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign) and Revit
- Ability to balance the needs of regional, market and discipline leadership
