Position Summary: The Vice President of Operations & Administration is accountable for leading an Enterprise-wide team that delivers high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients across all of Arthur J. Gallagherranches. The role has oversight of Division Level Service Leaders, Performance Management and Development, US Shared Service Centers, Application Support, and the offshore Service Center. This role reports directly into the Divisionhief Operating Officer. The Vice President has a responsibility for insuring the organization is meeting expected business outcomes for client retention, client satisfaction, enhancing AJGalue to our clients and prospects, achieving operating/margin targets and creating a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree.
- 12 or more years experience in client service and/or claims management.
- 10 or more years experience leading a team.
- P&C License.
Desired: - Proven ability to lead and achieve desired results from a dispersed workforce.
- Familiar with well-known process improvement/quality methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma, High-Performance Work Teams, etc.
- Able to balance the unique needs of our clients while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Demonstrates a breadth and depth of operational service delivery management expertise focused on service quality, people, process and technology.
- Prior experience designing and implementing productivity and client service improvements.
- Significant experience leading and managing teams (preferably in a matrix environment) within an operational service delivery or shared services environment.
- Strong communicator at all levels.
- Role model for achieving performance standards and champion of Gallagherhared values.
