Vice President of Medical Affairs
- Executive level position which reports directly to the SVP and Hospital President within this large, 11-hopsital, not-for-profit system
- Your office: a 750+ bed teaching hospital, the 2nd largest in the state, includes 2 campuses, a Level I Trauma Center, and an Advanced Stroke Center
- Several ACGME-accredited residency programs, training physicians for more than 50 years
- Join a system with 14,000 team members, 1,000 employed physicians, and 140+ physician offices
- This position will be a leader of clinical initiatives aimed at improving quality, safety, patient, and physician satisfaction while managing costs, reducing length of stay, improving care coordination, and enhancing clinical productivity
- The VPMA will be charged with the advancement and enhancement of processes to build a cohesive, engaged, and high performing medical staff focused on service excellence and continuous clinical improvement
- Required: MD or DO, board certified in your specialty, Masteregree in Medical Management, MBA, MPH required
- 10 to 15 years of prior clinical experience
- 7 years of recent leadership experience in an acute care setting
- Knowledge of information technology and facility with EHR and CPOE
