Prudentialroup Insurance (GI) National Accounts Customer Relationship Management team is seeking an experienced Regional Account Director. Reporting to the Vice President, Customer Relationship Management, the incumbent is accountable to lead Account Management professionals who service our large financial/insurance accounts, ranging in size from 5,000+ employees and ensuring that relationships are built and sustained with new and existing customers. Manage a team responsible for defining, developing and implementing processes, performance measures and tools to enhance the account management functions within a profit center.
Responsibilities: · Accountable for the execution of the National Accounts relationship management strategy within their assigned region supporting cases that range in size from 5,000+ employees, with varying complexities.
· Attract and retain top talent, providing direct coaching and development of Account Managers including responsibility for account management and sales support activities for customers with 5,000+ employees.
· Work collaboratively with the Regional Vice President to meet or exceed annual persistency, profitability and revenue growth objectives.
· Achieve segment financial goals/metrics working collaboratively with the VP, Customer Service, RVPnd National Accounts Distribution.
· Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with internal business partners, sales reps, third party administrators to facilitate high quality service support, customer satisfaction, persistency and profitability
· Assist National Account Managers with annual business planning and regular reviews to gain insight into office and region dynamics, books of business and producer/customer relationships.
· Develop successful relationships with customers and producers within assigned regions.
· Active participation and engagement in strategic projects and initiatives.
Qualifications Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience
3-5 years insurance experience
Regional leadership experience preferred
Knowledge and understanding of pricing and general underwriting concepts.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Active Group Life and Health Insurance license or obtained within 30 days of hire.
Minimum of 25% travel required
