REGIONAL CHANNEL SALES DIRECTOR
The Regional Channel Sales Director will be responsible for recruiting, managing and educating channel partners by cooperating with and supporting channel partners to develop solutions for enterprise customers in order to generate revenue. Responsible for creating new business opportunities and generating sales leads, maintains ongoing business relationship with channel partners and enterprise customers to achieve sales target. This position has a quota and is required to close deals through development of market opportunities and channels.
Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for creating business relationships with high level contacts, often through face-to-face client and partner site visits:
- Researches, analyzes, synthesizes and recommends expansion opportunities in enterprise market.
- Participates in new business development.
- Maintains positive channel partner and end customer relationships to maximize product/service satisfaction.
- Acts and liaison between the company, channel partners and customers.
- Alerts channel partners and end customers to new or improved products/services.
- Relays customer feedback to product development staff.
- Searches, recruits, trains and cooperates with qualified valuable partners to generate sales leads and opportunities.
- Delivers channel programs to partners to facilitate order closing.
- Participates in new business development with the channel partner.
- Maintains positive partner relationships to maximize product/service satisfaction.
- Acts and liaison between the company and partners.
- Alerts partners to new or improved products/services and brand awareness.
- Relays feedback of partners and market to product development staff.
- Work closely with field sales teams in channel revenue platform.
- Remains knowledgeable of companyroducts/services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Balances benefits well between company, customers and partners.
Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 7+ years sales experience.
Selling software or hardware Security products through channel partners to enterprises.
Recruiting and leveraging Information Security channel partners.
Skills & Competencies: Business acumen.
Customer service focused and results driven.
Ability to resolve complex problems.
Excellent knowledge of companyroducts, thrive to learn.
Excellent oral and written communication and strong presentation skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Salesforce.com.
