ROLE SUMMARY The Director, Program & Operations will lead various projects and programs within the Enterprise Communications team, which oversees all company-wide large-scale events, meetings and initiatives.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES - Oversee and manage all aspects of the One Pfizer Broadcast e companyuarterly Town Hall that is both a live event in New York and broadcast via webcast to colleagues outside of headquarters cluding developing an agenda, managing webcast details and invitations, partnering with other communications leads on presentation content, managing presentation and confidence monitor slides, pre- and post-event communications, survey, analytics, etc.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Annual Shareholderseting, including selecting a production vendor, partnering with Pfizerorporate Governance team on all aspects of planning, developing content and all briefing materials for senior leaders
- Provide planning, project management support and strategic insight for Leaderscus Day, an annual one-day meeting for the companyost senior leaders. Includes developing agenda and partnering with Communications colleagues on all presentation content, overseeing creative elements of meeting, video production, planning evening event activity, etc.
- Provide planning support for all high-level CEO colleague engagement trips to foreign markets. Includes overseeing planning calls, developing trip briefings for CEO and senior leaders, managing business meeting logistics with local market, etc.
- Provide planning support for annual OWNIT! Day, a day in which we recognize our culture. The Enterprise Communications, in partnership with Human Resources, develops an overall communications plan and materials, and unique messaging for each OWNIT! Day. In addition, there are two global broadcasts that the Enterprise Communications team runs.
- Provide communications support for all company-wide initiatives, such as culture-related launches/sustainability plans, business acquisitions, etc. Includes creating communications plans and materials, serving on workstreams, and providing strategic counsel.
- Gather metrics and analyze data for all Enterprise Communications efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS - At least 15 yearsperience in Communications
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to think strategically and provide sound communications counsel to senior leaders and other groups/functions across Pfizer
- Ability to take complex/specific information and translate it into language that is relevant to a wide colleague audience
- Proven ability to get results in a matrixed management environment
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to interact with and gain the trust of senior leaders
- Collaborative problem solving (with ability to handle conflict constructively)
- Creativity and/or ability to implement innovative approaches
- Willing and able to partner with other colleagues/groups toward a common goal
- Ability to capture and analyze metrics that gauge the success of communications efforts
- Health and sciences knowledge/background a plus
