PRIMARY FUNCTION: Eaton Corporationontrols and Protection Division, (CPD) has an opening for a Director of Supply Chain located in Puerto Rico or United States as needed. Under the direction of the VP of Operations for CPD, the Director of Supply Chain is a divisional role with a diversified scope of accountability that includes developing and driving supply chain strategies that link directly to the division strategic objectives which include:
-Materials Management consistent with world class performance
-Operations Management Excellence
-Productivity consistent with world class performance
-Develop internal talent and new competencies
This will include developing and deploying a functional SIOP and order fulfillment process while acting as the functional supply chain lead for all CPD division sites.
Another key aspect of the role is to help develop and deploy SCM strategic initiatives and related EBS tools to support key business strategies and related objectives. Develops and implements a common external and internal Supply Chain Performance Metrics and KPInd reports based on results, trends and forecasting to CPD on monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Develops and implements a logistics and supply chain performance metrics for external Strategic Suppliers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The functional scope of this role includes the complete cycle of material flow, from the demand plan, purchase and internal control of production materials to the planning and control of work in process to the warehousing, shipping, and distribution of the finished product, which includes the following:
Owns and drives the SIOP process
Logistics (warehousing, Transportation & Distribution)
Inventory Management
Management of Material Flow
Materials Replenishment
Trade Compliance
This position will be responsible for driving key processes to deliver on specific metrics such as;
Increase stock fill rate and on time performance to world class
28% reduction in DOH
Continuous Improvement projects to reduce fixed costs and capital investments
Qualifications BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Bacheloregree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain.
- Minimum of 15 years of business/operations experience of which at least 7 years of supply chain or related experience.
- Minimum of 3 years divisional or multi-site experience leading the SCM function
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Ability to quickly assess the operational and SCM efficiency of a facility and prioritize improvement processes.
- Experience in rationalizing supply chain, materials management, and manufacturing operations across multiple sites including the integration of acquired organizations.
- Sound understanding of the financial issues associated with running a multi-facility business.
- Successful experience in an organization with multiple, geographically diverse and international locations.
- Ability to drive change through influence and proven experience as an effective change agent.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Leader of people responsibility.
