Job summary Assistant Manager (AM), Restaurants is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers with an entrepreneurial, sales-driven spirit for the company. A key priority includes assisting the GM in the daily operation of the restaurant. Under the direction of the GM, this position will also be responsible for maintaining inventories, cash control, restaurant appearance and completing daily paperwork. Candidates should be able to strategically recruit, train and develop a productive store team whose primary focus is promoting our brand while offering exceptional customer service. The AM should inspire and encourage teamwork towards successfully achieving sales goals, upholding daily operations and most importantly, create a fun and energized environment!
Customer Service
Assures a pleasant shopping experience for all customers, responds to customer complaints and solicits customer feedback and input. Regularly coaches team to provide and maintain a consistent high level of customer service.
Clean, Safe and Secure
Maintains a facility that is consistently pection ready all areas including food preparation, restrooms and all guest contact areas. Complies and maintains all Department of Health, internal company and brand inspection standards. Follows daily Liberty Safety Inspection/Emergency Response Protocols to quickly recognize and remove potential safety hazards to customers, employees and vendors while operating in a manner that does not put company property and assets at risk.
Food safety and planning
Enforces sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensures compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances. Responsible for establishing consistent high quality of food preparation and service while maintaining a professional restaurant image.
Hiring and Training
Assists the GM in the hiring of new team members to meet the needs of the business and maintain a well staffed restaurant. Assures restaurant has a well trained staff to meet and exceed operational standards.
Inventory control
Under the direction of the GM, the AM is responsible for maintaining inventories and store appearance. Treat inventory as if it is cash. All inventoryvariances researched, discussed and reported to the GM as early as possible. Makes sure all storage areas are clean and products are well organized and labeled with the date received.
Sales generation
Provides Support to the GM in meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals. This involves setting individual sales goals, holding contests foremployees and or offering sales promotions. Executes all marketing activities to include: POP, suggestive selling and new item training rollouts.
Labor controls
Assists the GM with schedules to assure all shifts are covered and properly staffed. Coordinates daily assignments and activities of associates based on sales.
Cash Controls
Assures proper execution of all cash management activities, including accurate cash handling, credit card processing and safety procedures. Any unexplained cash shortage over $10 must be reported to GM or District Manager (DM), Restaurants.

· Maintain and ensure a safe clean work environment.
· Pass all internal operations training and paperwork audit.
· Ensure all brand sponsored inspections are at or above brand standards.
· Provide superior customer service to all of our guests.
· Analyze results and trends to prepare action plans, leverage the store's strengths and address areas of opportunity.
