Responsibilities The Senior Director of Program Management at the Triumph Corporate office will be the leader of the new Program Management Office organization in support of the Business Units and Functional organizations of a global, $3+ Billion organization. The Senior Director of Program Management will be directly accountable for creating common processes, metrics and policies, documenting and deploying best practices, establishing and executing procedures directly or indirectly associated with the Program Management function. In addition, the Corporate Senior Director PM will be a frequent on-site resource for facilities which require additional support to improve performance. This position will require an active change agent: leading, facilitating and mentoring a matrixed team disbursed throughout the business and acting urgently as a support system when emergent issues arise in the business.
The position is part of the Extended Leadership Team of the Triumph Group and reports to the Vice President of Performance Excellence, who reports to the CEO of Triumph Group. It is anticipated this position will have a small number of direct reports to support the PMO mission. The position is located at our Corporate Headquarters located in Berwyn, PA, just outside of Philadelphia.
Responsibilities The Senior Director of Program Management will:
- Continue the process of creation and development of the Program Management Office to identify and execute projects as prioritized by customer and business needs.
- Be leader of a highly functioning team of Program Management Office associates. These associates will be part of a matrix structure, dotted-lined into an operational Business Unit, but taking strategic overall direction from the Corporate Senior Director of Program Management.
- Lead the deployment of SIOP (Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning) while developing internal capabilities inside the businesses.
- Establish, with their internal customers, prioritizing the many opportunities to improve TGI processes.
- Create and drive best practices, metrics, policies and tracking mechanisms across TGI, including but not limited to: new product introduction, work transfer, program initiation, program tracking, customer scorecard management, customer demand management, financial management (P&L including inventory and cash), business case development, program reviews, escalation processes, resource planning/allocation, program performance metrics, effective use of ERP systems and more.
- Identify and develop cross-business unit opportunities where we can leverage one another, such as common manufacturing R&D, technical roadmaps and/or Program/Project Management processes and training packages.
- Identify and resolve areas of uncertainty or conflict between Business Unitnd Functions in order to best support One Triumph decision making.
- Identify opportunities and develop recommendations and strategies for continuous improvement optimization; lead those optimization efforts in collaboration with the businesses.
- Lead change management activities including driving a continuous improvement culture/mindset as well as developing a munity of Program Mangersross the Corporation by implementing a communication plan and creating opportunities for internal/external benchmarking.

Qualifications - Bacheloregree in Engineering or Business. Masteregree preferred.
- 15+ years of Manufacturing and/or Program/Project Management experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Be a Personle to support military programs.
- Demonstrated success of driving superior business results throughout all levels of the business through the effective execution lean / CI tools, techniques and methodologies.
- Six Sigma/PMI certifications or experience preferred.
- Ability to support significant travel (mostly US)
- Ability to think strategically as well as act tactically.
- Overall knowledge, skills, and abilities that reflect: leadership, business and financial acumen along with negotiation, organization and communication skills. Candidate must also have a demonstrated record of multi-site team leadership, creativity and innovation.
- Successful history and experience of working and influencing within matrix organizations.
- Ability to lead, influence, facilitate, mentor and advance a diverse group of leaders without direct reporting authority.
- Accomplished in building positive relationships with peers, suppliers and customers.
- Superior oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
Experience with new technologies as well as proficiency utilizing the Microsoft Office suite of products.
