This is a fabulous opportunity to influence the way Lenovo's Hyperscale Supply Chain, one of the fastest growing divisions within Lenovo is designed and built. The Hyperscale (Cloud) portfolio for Lenovo is expected to be >$1B, and growing at an annual rate of 300-400%. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to the Cloud Supply Chain leadership team, and provide thought leadership, vision, business and operational expertise to continuously optimize Lenovo's Cloud supply chain, increasing flexibility and reducing costs.
Roles and Responsibilities: Reporting to the Sr. Director, Strategic supply chain planning, this role will have a strategic focus, specifically responsible for building and designing optimization strategies, bringing best-in-class Hyperscale process and systems ideas and incorporating them into Lenovo's Hyperscale supply chain.
This role includes the following key responsibilities:
- Drive the strategic anchoring of the Supply Chain Optimization function within the Cloud supply chain
- Engage with our customers, internal engineering/product development teams, supply chain and IT functions in performing optimization gap analysis and leading projects to implement solutions.
- Develop timely response to emerging supply chain trends within the business and marketplace, understand industry best practice, and advocate for/drive their implementation
- Innovate and improve existing process to enable growth and scale; create a complete process playbook supporting operationalization of key tasks and procedures.
- Develop customer and internal metrics, focusing on customer trade-offs (Inventory, Customer Service and Lead time). Drive improvement and corrective measures across functions and interface with customer in providing timely responses.

Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree (preferred MS or MBA) in Operations Management, Business, Supply Chain, or related technology BS degree, and/or equivalent industry experience
- 6-8 years' experience managing volume purchasing, inventory management, Product Development / Engineering, supply-delivery and/or logistics in build-to-order and build-to-forecast environments
- Direct Supply Chain program management/ optimization experience. Lean-6 sigma project and process experience, APICS / ISM education
The ideal candidate will possess the following experience & qualifications:
- Experience in Cloud or High-tech electronics inventory management, sourcing, supply chain and manufacturing organization, including specific experience in Project/Program management, Continuous improvement initiatives / implementation.
- Adept in writing white-papers and building executive presentations to drive continuous improvement projects
- Self-driven, pioneering approach to change management within an organization. Track record of successful implementation of innovative process improvements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deal effectively with conflicting priorities and change
- Strong customer focus & attention to detail
- Minimum 5-years management experience in high-change environments
- Demonstrated ability to work independently & lead teams
- Demonstrated program & project management skills
- Strong written and oral communication
- Ability to self-serve and perform deep data analysis and scenario evaluation
- Ability to work effectively in MRP/ERP, supplier collaboration tool environments
- Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing/TFS training or experience
- APICS/ISM education/certification
- 20% travel to customer and supplier locations (Domestic and International)
