We're looking for a Director, RCSS Procurement Strategy & Business Development who is a "go-getter", an enthusiastic communicator who is able to clearly articulate across all levels in the organization.
This candidate will oversee all procurement activities for Ryerson' s RCSS and Global Accounts' business and while doing so will help develop and execute a strategy that supports the commercial business to drive margin expansion and top-line growth.
Position Requirements: - Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- 5-7 years experience in a significant procurement / business development role.
- Prior Metal's industry experience required
- Superb business acumen; strategic thinking, analytical problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills required
- Proficiency within Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) required
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
- High energy, positive attitude, competitive, goal-oriented, driven with a passion to excel
- Flexible and solutions-oriented
- High degree of integrity and ethics
