About The Opportunity
Position Summary The Human Resources Director guides, supports, and provides direction to all Company HR Managers ensuring fair, equitable, and consistent treatment of all employees resulting in favorable employee relations. This position originates and leads HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that emphasizes development, recognition, and engagement.
Essential to this Position
Key Responsibilities - Provides support and counsel to all ORBIS Corporation HR Managers regarding disciplinary actions, policies and procedures, onboarding, performance management and terminations
- Manages day-to-day activities, providing support and guidance, to direct reports on all employee relations and recognition activities, including company-wide initiatives
- Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership team and works closely with functional leaders and legal counsel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Assists in overall HR mission to proliferate the companyulture of engaged associates
- Delivers on objectives aimed to ensure that all ORBIS Associates sense their value as members of the organization while also being recognized for their efforts
- Acts as a strategic business partner by actively supporting the corporationmployee value proposition and thereby enhancing employee morale and retention
- Works closely with Operations Leadership and Vice President of Human Resources to devise, execute, and continuously update a prospective workforce planning model
- Partners with the Talent Acquisition team to recruit and retain qualified candidates
- Ensures managers provide a consistent on-boarding experience across the departments
- Partners with Talent Management team to engage employees in learning and career development opportunities
