Position Overview JOB TITLE Director of Product Marketing, Cloud Security
JOB DESCRIPTION This Director of Product Marketing role will be responsible for key outbound marketing activities for Fortinet's cloud security solutions, which covers security for private cloud, public cloud and SaaS applications. The successful individual will drive product and solution messaging that positions Fortinet as a market and thought leader in key enterprise segments.
Responsibilities include product messaging and positioning, launching new product and solutions, writing and developing whitepapers and collateral, presenting at key industry events, developing sales and partner enablement toolkits, training sales and partners, contributing articles, blogs and thought leadership pieces, and other product-related outbound marketing activities.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 10+ years experience in Product Management, Product Marketing, Solution Marketing or related roles
At least 3-5 years experience with data center or cloud-related technologies - such as virtualization, SDN, infrastructure-as-a-service, SaaS - required, including key vendors and platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, VMware NSX, and Cisco ACI. Security experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a Technical field is required, MBA preferred
Excellent verbal communication, presentation skills, and writing proficiency
Develop strongly differentiated product, platform and solutions positioning and messaging
Able to conceive, initiate, and sell new ideas in a team environment
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with technical and sales communities with credibility
Strong internal/external presentation skills
Demonstrates creative energy in message delivery
