Our firm is in search of a RN with strong Occupational Health Operations experience. This is a NEWLY created Director level role that would have you working on site at a Corporate worksite-based health and wellness center near the Sunnyvale/ Palo Alto region. 12,000- 13,000 employees are eligible for care. This position reports to the VP of Operations.
You should have strong track record of demonstrated process management and leadership skills.
To be considered you should meet the following requirements:
- RN CA License
- It is a feather in your cap if you have your COHN certification!
- Working as an Operations leader
- At least 7 years' experience in an industrial business environment, managing others
- You MUST be comfortable with OSHA and worker's comp regulations. We need someone who knows rules and regulations backwards and forwards.
- Within the first 60 days of this role you should have a rapport with client and understand needs. At 90 days you will be expected to execute on a plan to make a bigger impact and meet needs of the work-site health center.
- You will be consulting with Medical, Legal or Compliance departments regarding regulations, practices act, practice law, certification requirements etc.
- You may be asked to complete ad hoc projects.
- You should understand our client runs 24/7-while we don't expect you to be on-call 24/7, you need to understand operations do run all the time-which means you need to be comfortable in dealing with the complexities of running a 24/7 operation.
- As previously stated, you will be managing others. In this role you will be responsible for 20-25 FTEs; mix of MAs, Receptionists, and RNs. You will work closely with the Medical Director who manages Physical Therapy and the provider team.
- You should have Budget/ P&L experience. This role involves budget/ P&L responsibility managing a portfolio of $2M - $10M in Gross Annual Revenue
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills required
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills required
- Excellent demonstrated follow up skills & attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member
- Strong relationship building skills
Salary is based on experience, however you would be looking at a salary STARTING in the low $ 100,000's and goes up considerably from here.
