Dynamics of the Role
This position is a key contributor to the vision of TransUnion being recognized as an API & consultative batch solutions provider. The Sr. Director is responsible for leading a team of analysts to support the coding of API and develop standard to very complex customer batch projects.
The Sr. Director analyzes business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems. Represents the business unit to define requirements and business cases for technology developments. Coordinates with sales, business and technology teams, ascertaining system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. Coordinates and manages issue resolution and priority jobs.

Business Operations is responsible for assisting with coding and data questions related to API and the acquisition of client data and activities for batch fulfillment to support account risk management and data hygiene. Data performance and customer technical support are other key areas where you can put your strong analytical, logical and Big Data talent to work. This area works closely with internal sales groups and clients and contributes to the revenue generation of the company. How YouContribute:
- Coach and mentor a team focused on delivering products/services via a batch process and second level support for API integrations
- Responsible for the revenue growth and market use of batch processing
- Process improvements in areas of system stability, product performance, system functionality and team performance
- Drive total customer experience by improving on-boarding of customers, increasing communication and accelerating time from testing to production
- Work closely with sales leadership and vertical market planners on large opportunities and launching new sales campaigns
- Conduct in-depth customer presentation addressing unique customer requirements
- Assist in designing and crating products that exceed customer and industry expectations within the different markets
- Create and present requirements for product and system enhancements to Sr. Management and the technology team within the business unit
- Report to Sr. Leadership on a monthly basis the status of the teamerformance related to the key performance objectives
- Assist the team lead in ensuring the daily work is completed and the team is staffed to meet the business need
What YouBring:
- MBA with a Bacheloregree in Management Information Systems, Information Systems or related field
- 10 yearsperience in a leadership position
- 15 yearsperience in a technical or sales support organization
- Excellent communication and presentation skills related to C level
- Desire to consult and train internal/external customers on how to use the product
- Ability to directly and indirectly carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. This includes interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; associate development; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- You are independent and resourceful with the ability to identify opportunities to optimize performance. Skilled in delivering high-quality output on time in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Proficient data analysis using quantitative reasoning, an intuitive capacity for problem solving and ability to act decisively.
- Ability to analyze complex data using logic and quantitative reasoning, an intuitive capacity for problem solving and ability to act decisively.
- Expert knowledge of relational database, and the ability to manipulate/transform data using various technologies.
