About the Role The Director of Sales st will be a key member of the Commercial organization and serve on the US Sales Leadership Team. He/she will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy for the eastern half of the US, in alignment with the national strategy, and leading sales execution to ensure launch success.
Roles and Responsibilities - Partner with the US VP, Sales and US Leadership Team to develop and drive the sales plan to ensure achievement of sales & corporate objectives

- Develop, lead and execute product launch plans with specific goals and targets for the successful launch and sales growth of Epidiolex
- Recruit, hire and develop a best-in-class rare disease sales team with an emphasis on launch excellence
- Accountable for partnering with Compliance and Legal to ensure that all promotional strategies and regional activities are on-label and adhere to Greenwich compliance policies.
- Foster an entrepreneurial culture with a focus on ownership and accountability to maximize individual and Company goals.

- Actively develops KOL and customer engagement strategies while establishing relationships with thought leaders and HCP customers with a focus on collaboration for the achievement of optimal patient outcomes
+ Continually develop the competence (skills, knowledge, and behaviors) of sales team through appropriate coaching and other development training and activities.
- Foster and maintain a culture of compliance by being a role model of integrity and requiring the sales team to comply with all legal, ethical and procedural standards in all business activities
- Ability to analyze, interpret and leverage data including sales analytics, CRM reports, business statistics and customer feedback that provides an information framework for the development of strategic business plans
- Responsible for the financial management of monetary resources inclusive but not limited to promotional and T&E budgets in a manner consistent with all Greenwich compliance policies
- Conducts business in accordance with all regulations and within Company policy, procedure, and ethical standards
Qualifications and Experience - Bacheloregree required, MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales and sales leadership
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience with a strong record of consistent high performance
- Rare disease leadership required with a preference in Epilepsy
- Strong product launch history required, preferably in rare disease
- Prefer prior experience in commercial operations, managed markets, marketing or sales training
- Successful history of building high-performing sales teams, with demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguous environments
- Demonstrated success in a startup and fast-growing, entrepreneurial sales environment
- Previous experience collaborating with National and Local Support Foundations
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Travel
- Ability to travel at least 50% with a history of managing large geographic areas
- Some travel and attendance on evenings and weekends for regional and national conferences may be required
