Health Dimensions Group is currently recruiting for a dynamic Executive Director to serve at Maria Joseph Continuing Care Community.
Maria Joseph, located in Danville, Pennsylvania, is a faith based not-for profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) sponsored by the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius. Rooted in the Judeo-Christian traditions of hospitality and service dedicated to a mission of love and respect for each individual, the Sisters and staff of the campus offer a welcome and secure environment.
The campus, nestled in the Susquehanna Valley offers a continuum of senior living options including 112 independent living patio homes, 62 assisted living, 24 memory care assisted living, and a 90 bed care facility offering rehabilitation services and skilled nursing.
Under the direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Executive Director leads and directs the overall operation of the community in accordance with resident needs, governmental regulations, and company policies, with the main objective of maintaining quality care for the residents and achieving business and financial profitability for the community.
Qualifications - Licensed Health Center Administrator in the state of Pennsylvania (or ability to secure) is required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an Executive Director or Administrator within a Continuing Care Retirement Community OR minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Executive Director or Administrator in a long-term care senior living environment that includes demonstrated leadership within a health center.
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge designing and executing strategy and goals to increase both independent living and health center census are highly preferred.
- Strong background in operational and financial management with proven success creating and executing strategies and plans that will increase overall business performance, census, and positive business outcomes is required.
- Demonstrated success communicating verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills for audiences at all levels in both small and large groups.
- A broad understanding of federal, state, and local laws and guidelines related to the operation and management within a long-term care or continuing care retirement community is highly preferred.
- Ability to lead and direct leadership to effectively supervise team members and work collaboratively in an organization or community that is considered a best place to work.
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of audiences, including residents, resident family members, community groups and organizations, government agencies, peers, direct reports, team members, and senior leadership.
- Domestic travel up to 10%, particularly attendance at quarterly Operation Leadership Team meetings.
