Waffle News with Victor Dweck, the first late night show for cutting-edge conservatives, is hiring a Director of Marketing & PR for its inaugural season. The show is written and produced by Emmy winners from the likes of SNL, The Daily Show, and The Tonight Show. Episodes are filmed in front of a live studio audience at the famed PBS Studios in NYC. Content is distributed online by the world's largest social entertainment channel to an audience of 1 billion monthly viewers.
Your job will be extremely exciting, but also requires incredible talent, skill, and a "nothing will $@*%ing stop me" attitude. If you don't have that, close the page. If you do, read on mother. Here are the details. As Director of Marketing & PR, you must:
- Have a seriously good sense of humor.
- Be an incredibly good speaker.
- Have tremendous confidence when presenting yourself, both on the phone and in person.
- Be extremely comfortable around people.
- Have a brain that relentlessly thinks outside the box.
As Director of Marketing & PR, you will:
- Direct the overall communication and strategy of the show's messaging, both internally to advertisers and externally to millions of viewers.
- Build and manage the show's social media pages.
- Coordinate with the show's producers and writers to create content for social channels.
- Create and manage digital advertising campaigns, utilizing techniques like audience segmentation and retargeting.
- Analyze and manage the audience's digital behavior using software and tools.
- Draw insights and make suggestions based on piles of data, stemming from millions of social interactions.
- Coordinate with the Talent Department on celebrity guests and social influencers for the show.
- Research and propose topics for celebrity guest interviews.
- Stay on of top of Late Night Comedy, Politics, Pop Culture and Social Media trends.
- Befriend rainmakers in media, journalism, and entertainment to get the show's content shared and talked about.
- Work alongside the Executive Producer, Creative Director, Associate Producers and Writers.
- Report directly to Victor.
Is there a particular degree required?
You could be in school for veterinarian computer science (that's not a thing). We don't care. Not everybody knows what they want to do with their life in their early 20's. If you feel like you'd excel at this, then you should apply. Bonus Skills:

- You know your way around Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.)
- You've got existing relationships with conservative or liberal media outlets & journalists.
