WHO WE ARE Great Value Storage is one of the largest privately held self-storage operators in the country. Since 2011, Great Value Storage has been actively acquiring and growing in the self-storage market and is continually searching for ways to provide high-touch service at a great price. Great Value Storage has quickly expanded from its first property in Austin, Texas and currently operates 65 self-storage facilities containing over 30,900 units and over 4,100,000 square feet. We will continue to grow our portfolio of properties, with the aim of offering offer great service to our loyal customer base across the country. RESPONSIBILITIES
The Marketing Director will oversee all marketing activities across all regions and ensure Great Value Storage brand standards are upheld at all facilities. The Director of Marketing will work with Operational Leadership to develop and promote strategic and operational marketing initiatives, standardize efforts and create a local community presence.
- Responsible for overall marketing strategy and execution of plans for all existing properties.
- Maintain a uniform look across the company to ensure the Great Value Storage brand is consistent.
- Manage companynline presence through ownership of the website, social media and reputation management.
- Direct marketing programs by creating campaigns that build brand awareness, drive leads and increase occupancy.
- Ensure quality customer service for our tenants
- Manage, develop and source third party vendors
- Analyze effectiveness of all marketing efforts including their contribution to the effectiveness of their return on investment to include cost per lead and cost per move-in
- Research and evaluate new opportunities, demand for potential products, and customer needs and insights.
- Develop and train all teammates on marketing related activities
The marketing director position is expected to contribute a great deal to the effectiveness of the company in identifying products and markets, suggesting sales strategies and approaches, and in measuring the results of all of the efforts. QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-10 years of marketing experience in multi-property industry, self storage or real estate preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field required.
- Mastern Business or Marketing preferred.
- Ability to lead in an environment of constant change.
- Strong effective communicator.
- Highly developed, demonstrated

- Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and provide useful advice and input across the company.
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must have working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suites otoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
