Position Title: Director, Customer Experience Marketing - A&F, abercrombie
Reports to: Head of Marketing Strategy
Location: Home Office - New Albany, OH
The Director, Customer Experience Marketing is responsible for delivering against the brand marketing strategy to evolve the perception of the brand while achieving customer acquisition, retention, traffic and revenue goals. This person leads the marketing team focused on loyalty, email, mobile, site, store and app marketing, using advanced segmentation strategies where possible, supporting both the Abercrombie & Fitch and abercrombie kids brands on a global scale.
Responsibilities - Build an annual marketing plan that guides budgeting requirements to deliver against traffic and revenue goals, and that supports seasonal and ongoing marketing campaigns
- Build a world-class in house digital marketing team
- Develop loyalty program marketing strategies to achieve acquisition, retention and revenue goals. Introduce experiential components to drive brand advocacy
- Provide expertise and direction on messaging (email, SMS, mobile) and automation, including segmentation and personalization, content strategy, testing roadmap and integration with other channels and platforms
- Provide expertise and direction on site and store experiences, including feature categories, landing pages and shop-in-shops
- Oversee a robust test and learn plan to improve messaging, creative, timing and overall productivity
- Partner with Analytics to present findings, analysis and recommendations to leadership
- Manage agency partners in the execution and optimization of marketing initiatives
- Utilize past performance, consumer insights and competitive intelligence to ensure correct strategies are in place to deliver maximum return on marketing investment

Qualifications - Bacheloregree in Marketing, Advertising or related field
- Minimum 8-10 years of direct marketing experience in a fast paced, multi-channel retail environment
- Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors or agencies
- Global perspective and international experience a plus
- Strong working knowledge of digital media including loyalty, email, SMS, and app
- Proven track record of working across and within a matrixed structure rategy, creative, analytics, and CRM
- Strong project management and inter-departmental coordination skills
- Analytical and highly motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment
- Highly organized and able to multi-task, while maintaining clear and proactive flow of communication and ownership of tasks
