The Program Director of Adult Residential and Developmental Disabilities of Northern New Jersey supervises multiple residential programs providing administrative and clinical oversight to these sites. The Program Director will promote and maintain quality service delivery in accordance with Volunteers of America Policies and Procedures as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable city, state, and federal regulations and reporting.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The position requires a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by the state of New Jersey and five years relevant experience in a residential and/or behavioral health setting. In addition, the applicant will have three years supervisory experience managing multiple social service programs as well as significant budgetary experience.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provides regular supervision to program staff, oversight of day to day operations and fiscal management of each program.
2. Ensure quality service delivery is provided to each resident in a consistent manner and documentation is up to date in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
3. Completes Comprehensive Rehabilitation Needs Assessments and Individualized Rehabilitation Plans when needed.
4. Ensures clinical and operational support coverage is in place in conjunction with the Residential Manager.
5. Ensures fiscal viability of each program closely monitoring program spending and overtime.
6. Manage community and governmental relations as well as ensures accreditation standards are met.
7. Works closely with the Facility Director to ensure the facility is clean and well maintained.
8. Provide 24/7 on-call supervision and consultation.
9. Oversees clinical service delivery.
10. Leads and manages transitions in the field, including reimbursement transformations.
11. Performs other related tasks as assigned.
