We are currently seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate and professional Director of Nursing to join our team. The Director of Nursing is responsible for assessing, planning, providing, and directing nursing care and health-related services while providing administrative and clinical supervision to Nursing staff across all of AHRCrograms. This includes working directly with our Nursing Supervisors and Nurse Trainer to coordinate/facilitate on the job training, ensure compliance with all nursing policies and regulations, create policies and procedures, and participate in agency committees as required.

Requirements The requirements for this position are: * Minimum eight years' experience in nursing with at least three years in a supervisory capacity.
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse's License. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required,
- Masters Degree preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations (OPWDD, OMH, DOH, etc.)
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Valid New York State Driver's License.
