Position Summary: The Director for Ambulatory/Surgical Services will provide 24 hour responsibility for day-to-day management and leadership of Surgical and Ambulatory Services.
Job Requirements - Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing school.
- BSN or Bachelor's Degree in a field related to health care, Master's Degree preferred.
- Current Michigan RN licensure.
- BCLS certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years in specific nursing unit with progressive management and leadership responsibility.
- Able to facilitate multi-disciplinary work groups.
- Demonstrate, nursing, budgetary, written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements and performance improvement activities.
- Skilled in the art of negotiation and compromise.
- Open to new ideas, with demonstrated ability to think flexibly, and respond to critical situations involving patients, personnel and visitors in a professional manner.
