Director, PCC Marketing (BEC)
Role Summary: As a key leader in the organization, the Director Product Management, for the biologics particle and cells business is responsible for building, coaching, and leading the global marketing team accountable for guiding the strategy and direction that identifies needs, creates solutions, aligns the commercial team, and drives demand in targeted market segments of the PCC products, consumables, and service line.
Primary Responsibilities: Strategic management of portfolio of products within your categories. Develop overall product strategy and execute it by launching new products, managing existing products for optimal growth and exiting products that are no longer aligned with the companybjectives.
Drive product line revenue growth and operating profit.
Serve as a subject matter expert for product lines through an in depth understanding of the marketplace and competition with regular analysis around market trends as well as competitive moves.
Communicate product insights/positioning strategies throughout the organization to ensure all groups are properly aligned around the goals.
Nurture relationships between customers and internal teams. Serve as a customer advocate internally and a problem solver and technology visionary externally.
Communicates clearly with tactical marketing teams to ensure successful and efficient marketing campaigns. Generate and/or support the creation of marketing program materials and rich content conveying our value proposition to target segments
Define, deliver, and communicate the value of our products to support the global sales organization.
Attain deep understanding of the market, customers, channels, competitors, technologies, and industry standards to provide market segmentation and analysis
Leverage the Danaher Business System and Policy Deployment to drive effective cross-functional and global execution to drive growth
Develop product roadmaps and execute against them, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and Marketing
Oversee the implementation of policies and procedures that ensures strict compliance with all legal, regulatory and company requirements.
Build and develop a high performance team that is t in classonstantly maintains a mind-set focused on recruiting top talent. Qualifications Qualifications: BS degree with 5-10 years of experience managing products and people. MBA and/or MS preferred.
Experience in global marketing role with responsibility for a
$50-100M portfolio preferred
Ability to translate and convincingly communicate data into actionable information
Experience within a Life Sciences company, preferred ยท Analytical individual with experience in product positioning, marketing sizing, and segmentation
Demonstrated ability in planning, execution, and metrics-based analysis of global marketing programs
Proven ability to work in a matrix environment and influence others
Experienced in market development, specifically in emerging markets
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced and action-oriented environment
