The Sales Zone has been engaged to conduct a search for a Region Sales Director for the Southwest Region. This is a remote (home-based) position responsible for selling in the following states: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Duties & Responsibilities Networking
- Developing and fostering key relationships with business executives, playing an active and collaborative role in strategically targeting key clients and prospects, which can include significant global accounts
- Taking action to build formal and informal networks both within and outside the organization that result in partnerships and opportunities
- Actively promoting market and brand awareness
End-to-End New Business Development
- Identifying opportunities to establish, present, and sell the companyolutions
- Ensuring that the clientequirements are at the forefront of all sales efforts
- Gaining an understanding of client needs
- Aligning solutions to achieve a high level of client service and satisfaction
- Managing and analyzing information to retain and grow accounts
- Executing account plans to retain and expand business with existing client accounts

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
We are looking for disciplined, creative, intellectually curious sales professionals who possess the following skills:
- The ability to sell an intangible solution. Previous experience selling consulting services, organizational effectiveness / organizational development, employee engagement solutions, and/or performance improvement solutions is required.
- Seven to ten years of sales experience with a track record of creating performance improvement solutions for mid- to large-sized corporations with expertise in closing large enterprise B2B complex sales; selling premium-priced services; selling services vs. product.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Previous experience working
- Experience using Salesforce.com
- A bacheloregree (a masteregree is a plus)
- An understanding of how to sell to a variety of functional areas within an organization at the C-level or equivalent (eg, Manufacturing, Sales, HR, Operations, etc.)
