ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The purpose of the Project Director, Supply Chain Management & Procurement role is to act as a subject matter expert for a North American strategic initiative (project BOOST). The focus of the role is to drive k to basicsd transformational activities in a program management mode. The scope includes: Planning & Scheduling (SIOP, MPS, MRP, Shop Floor Scheduling, Manufacturing Execution), Master Data Management, Inventory Management, Logistics and Transactional Flow (inbound, internal, shipping), Supplier Contract Management, Supplier Performance Management, Order to Cash cycle.
Scope of the turn round activities:150 Supply Chain Management & Procurement staff, 78M$ inventory, sales 300M$
The Project Director, Supply Chain Management & Procurement will contribute to improving the overall maturity level on Supply Chain Management and Procurement, the deployment of robust/sustainable business processes and improved operational performance (delivery, inventory, profit).
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
The Project Director, Supply Chain Management and Procurement will report to the Project functional lead and will have a matrix reporting relationship to the SVP Supply Chain Management, SVP Procurement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Activity Management: Project Management
- Assess current state with the local leadership team (using existing assessment tools and GOLD standard documents)
- Train / Teach all stakeholders on good practices following the project roadmap
- Identify gaps to target processes and define an action plan for implementation / deployment of Supply Chain Management and Procurement business processes
- Implement and/or support all implementation activities with local leadership
- Create, maintain and lead the execution of plans
- Active member of the Supply Chain Management and Procurement project team: report progress, share/escalate roadblocks, seek and provide support.
- Implement performance and business process KPIs to monitor progress
- Provide updates in a timely manner (KPIs, Project plans and reporting) and escalate where appropriate
- The scope of the initiatives include the following: People (organization, recruitment support, training, coaching); Process (GOLD standards, Leadership Standard Work); and Technology (IS/IT enablers, tools and solutions, ERP/MRP).

- Maintain, manage and communicate results as per defined project KPIs and project governance
- Apply PDCA approach, use A3 appropriately in case of deviation to plan to ensure successful project delivery and sustainability

ABOUT YOU Required Qualifications: - Bacheloregree in Supply Chain, Business or closely-related field is required.
- 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Purchasing
- U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements as applicable.
- Fluency in English required.
Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree is preferred.
- APICS CSCP or CPIM certified or equivalent is preferred.
- Essential capabilities, knowledge and skills required: Expert level for Forecasting & Demand Planing, SIOP / MPS / MRP, Daily Scheduling & Execution, Master Data Mgt, Leveraging IT solutions, Inventory Management, Master Data Mgt, Transportation Management, Inbound / Outbound Flow, Internal Flow & Warehousing, End-to-End visibility and data exchange, Project Management, Operations Excellence, End-to-End Supply Chain.
- Desirable capabilities, knowledge and skills: Strategy & CI Planning, Performance Monitoring, Budget Mgt and Finance acumen, Lean Mindset & Business Excellence, People Excellence, Operations Excellence
- Proficiency in additional spoken language a plus.
