Job Description Title of Position: Occupational Health Clinical Support Specialist

Purpose of the Position The Occupational Health Clinical Support Specialist is the initial contact for the clinical programs and assists the Senior Vice President with auditing and monitoring the clinical programs as needed.
Essential Functions: * Serves as the liaison on clinical issues between the Occupational Health Program Directors and the corporate structure.
- Develops, supports, and implements the strategic plans and initiatives of the agency.
- Conducts chart audits of clinical programs. Maintains records and corrective action plans based on results;
- Assists with billing and operational oversight of corporate services provided to Occupational Health programs;
- Assists with business development including locating program opportunities, gathering program and budget information and assisting with drafting RFP responses;
- Participates on the team to "stand up" new projects and programs and services, including establishing project timetables, meeting deliverables and coordinating input from others.
- Participates on the Compliance Committee activities related to clinical programs.
- Assists with assessments of changes to regulatory and program requirements and accrediting agency requirements affecting Occupational Health programs, including recommending changes internally to ensure programs are operating consistently with program requirements.
- Assists with tracking and ensuring the receipt and adequacy of all required statistical and narrative data for monthly and quarterly reports on clinical program activities and performance, including "Metrics that Matter".
- Assists with providing or arranging for continuing education, in-service training, and other developmental, clinically-focused compliance and quality assurance practices.
- Provides progressive counseling to support staff per agency policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Ability to work independently.
- Experienced with advising clinical programs on a variety of issues, including operations, compliance and growth.
- Capable of leading the development of Agency policies and procedures.
- Capable of taking on a growth initiative and following through.
- Experienced in project management, planning, allocation of resources.
- Strong data management and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
- Ability to understand and monitor budgets.
- Ability to attend to detail.
- Ability to resolve problems, policy matters, personnel, and client issues.
- Ability to plan and monitor the activities of one or more functional areas and / or projects.
- Ability to adapt to change and/or work under potentially stressful situations.
- Ability to maintain flexibility to work with different programs, populations, closely monitored by outside agencies.
- Computer literate on MS Office programs.
Qualifications: Education: MA/MS in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work. Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) preferred
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a social and / or clinical services setting related to one or more Occupational Health programs, with at least three (3) years of which must be on a management / leadership level.

An equivalent combination of related education and experience
Preferred: Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, substance use disorder, mental illness and/or dementia strongly preferred.
Experience or participation with compliance committee.
