The Director of Advanced Analytics is to transform how analytics drives business outcomes. At the core of our business strategy is the value of reliable, real-time data - great equalizerand insights that come out of the data using Advanced Analytics. Our ability to leverage cognitive, diagnostic and predictive skills to drive speed and agility in our supply chain will give us competitive edge. Accelerated adoption of bleeding edge machine learning analytics embedded in the operational workflow is required to achieve our goals. The Director, Advanced Analytics role is an opportunity for an up-and-coming leader who can partner with business teams end-to-end from identification and prioritisation of problems to communication of end results within the business and ensuring and measuring business value of results.
You will: - Articulate analytics proposition to business stakeholders, and collaborates to identify use case opportunities
- Support analytics design decisions by taking relevant inputs from business team and defining clear plan for analytics team; pushes analytics teams to confirm assumptions, extract relevant insights and to interpret the models and outputs
- Lead communication of analytics outputs with executives; acts as bridge between management and analytics specialists; Shares insights with business stakeholders and collects inputs
- Guide analytics team to develop right visualisations for presenting results
- Orchestrate and coordinate a multi-functional team including: IT, data engineers, modelers, designers, business process designers as well as inputs of multiple end-user stakeholders
Qualifications - A minimum of a Bacheloregree is required, Masterr PhD in quantitative field such as engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, MBA or any other discipline with a high applied mathematical / statistical component highly preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years of industry experience solving business problems through application of quantitative analytic approaches is required
- Have strong domain knowledge in business, i.e. Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance is required
- Strong willingness to learn new hard and soft skills, and develop new professional capability is preferred
- Strong communicator with experience in working with senior management and cross functional team is required
- Proven thought leadership on challenging problems with examples of implementing innovative analytic solutions and driving outstanding results is required
- Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the role and has a strong sense of ownership
- Ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus is preferred
- Experience with data modelling, design patterns, building highly scalable and secured analytical solutions is required
- Proven Experience in computer science or coding (any language) is preferred
- Preferred experience in ital nativempany applying real-time advanced machine learning analytics throughout operational workflows is preferred
- Experience working in start-up environment or organizations with an agile culture is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestically and/or internationally is required
