At FCB Health, the Director, User Experience develops end-to-end solutions (both digital and non-digital) for top brands. The Director leads a team of UX Architects in designing cutting edge healthcare products and drives superior experience design at the agency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Experience Strategy
- Conducts Service Design Blueprint workshops
- Creates competitive analysis decks
- Develops site audit/heuristics spreadsheets
- Implements cutting edge Experience practices across the agency
Directs and Conducts User Research
Design Leadership
- Facilitates client and internal brainstorming sessions
- Determines allocations and assignments at the brand level
- Collaborates on New Business Pitches
- Evangelizes the UX practice and project wins
- Educates internal partners on best practices
Management
- Hires and coaches a group of UX Architects at various levels
- Seeks out growth opportunities for team members in the form of training, mentors, and informal peer reviews
- Supports the VP, Director, UX in crafting a vision for the department
- Reviews all UX team deliverables
- Brings in lunch and learn speakers and other learning opportunities
Qualifications REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION - Relevant degree, diploma (User Experience, Product Design, Visual Arts and Design, Interactive/Multimedia design, Industrial Design, Library Sciences or Visual Communication)
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS (licenses, programs, certifications, etc.)
- Certificate in User Experience a plus
EXPERIENCE - 10+ years of UX experience
- Stellar client-facing skills and excellence in presenting skills
- Portfolio demonstrating your contributions to end-to-end product lifecycles, including strategic experience planning
OTHER INFORMATION SPECIAL INFORMATION (Travel, Physical Requirements, Schedule, etc.)
- As it highly client facing role, occasional travel may be required
