In this role you will partner with business leaders to drive a culture of accountability/transparency and execute on the company strategy to achieve specific business and functional results. You will organize, direct, and oversee all aspects of the business unit's Human Resources function by providing strategic and tactical leadership for the HR function, including planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of human resources policies, programs, and practices. You will lead managers of related activities within the business unit Human Resources function. You will participate in the development of the company's Human Resources strategy and ensure that the strategy is effectively implemented within the business unit. You will maintain union-free operations by implementing strategies that drive employee engagement and that are consistent with the overall value proposition. You will oversee the administration of the labor relations processes and strive to align business unit initiatives with company-wide initiatives.
Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and ten (10) or more years of related experience in human resources leadership, ideally in a manufacturing setting. Must have experience leading an HR function (or a field HR function within a specified geography) and experience in broad human resources generalist work including labor and employee relations, lifecycle talent and performance management, compensation/rewards, and employee engagement. Must have demonstrated business acumen, strategic planning, leadership and interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities. Must be able to establish collaborative relationships with other departments within the business unit, with corporate functions as well as external organizations.
