Job Title Director, Product Management
Job Purpose About the Role: Fiservank Solutions division has a portfolio of Retail Lending solutions including PCLender, Velocity, EasyLender and LoanLaunch. These products are used by hundreds of financial institutions including most of the top financial institutions in the country.
The Director of Retail Lending Product Management is tasked with being a subject matter expert of the Lending Originations market, including branch delivery, customer self-service, digital marketing, security, and account originations. She/he will lead develop, implement, price, and manage the delivery of a group of consumer products and services used by Fiserv clients and prospects.
As a partner to key roles across Fiserv including PCLender, Bank, Credit Union, and Lending divisions, this product leader will help evaluate new opportunities through market research, client engagement, industry discussions, and user feedback. This leader will be responsible for assessing the competitive landscape, understanding clienteeds and Fiservapabilities, and developing innovative products that address client concerns and generate a meaningful ROI for Fiserv. S/he will lead a talented team either directly or indirectly who oversee product strategy, innovation, product planning, go-to-market, and execution for the related solutions.
He/she will work closely with other leaders across Fiserv including Product Management to champion new digital opportunities within the organization by building business cases, market requirements, and user stories, and will also engage various partners to assess feasibility and resource requirements. Once approved, he/she will own the execution of these new initiatives and own the timely and high quality delivery of these to clients. The Director of Product Management will work closely with partners across the organization, including finance, marketing, legal, compliance, product development, business development, and sales to ensure Fiserv is effectively meeting market demand for Lending Origination.
The Director, Product Management will play a critical role in delivering Retail Lending solutions to Fiservlients, and ultimately creating and maintaining quality sources of revenue. He/she must be a strong strategic thinker, possess good analytical skills, and be self-driven to solve those problems needed to run the business of the products he/she manages.
Essential Job Responsibilities: - Identify product opportunities and partnerships that solve market problems leveraging research, data analysis, client feedback and other channels. Partner closely with key Fiserv leaders and other stakeholders on these activities.
- Evaluate and quantify market opportunities; build business cases to support investments.
- As a product leader, champion these new opportunities and secure buy in from key stakeholders.
- Provide thought leadership and advice for organizational and operational improvements to the functioning of the Product Management organization.
- Produce regular executive reports and supporting metrics along with detailed, actionable insights and recommendations to Senior Executives, Key Stakeholders, and Product Management leaders; continuously monitor the recommendations vs. desired outcomes through forecasts and performance tracking tools (dashboards).
- Work with key partners and product development to create and communicate product roadmaps with internal partners and clients.
- Apply practical / pragmatic program management concepts to facilitate the achievement of program objectives
- Define product requirements and priorities; work in an agile software development environment to communicate requirements and priorities to product development team throughout the development lifecycle.
- Partner with other product managers to partner on delivering integrated solutions that solve market problems
- Act as subject matter expert as it relates to these new market opportunities.
- Own pricing strategy for new opportunities.
- Identify market research needed to validate new opportunities. Define and lead research efforts.
- Partner with Business Development, and Marketing teams on go-to-market activities.
- Own the definition of key performance indicators for your products; manage the tracking process
- Speak with clients and prospective clients about market trends and how Fiserv is meeting those trends; at client forums and in individual clients meetings
- Perform other duties as required

Required Qualifications: - BA or BS in related field
Job Related Experience:
- Minimum 10 yearsperience required: 7+ yearsperience in Product Management/ strategy
- 5 or more years of experience in financial services, Lending, and/or fin tech strongly preferred
- 5 or more years of direct management and experience leading teams in a complex matrix environment for technical SaaS or software company/companies.
- Proven track record in program and project execution (end-to-end) through combination of strategic leadership and tactical execution.
- Supervisory/Management experience preferred but not required
