Requirements:

Equivalent to Masters Degree in relevant discipline.

EXPERIENCE:

Three years relevant experience, depending on size and complexity of grant, including supervisory and budgetary responsibility. Experience with at-risk populations and community based programs is essential.

Job Description:

Under general supervision of the Department Supervisor, and in accordance with established policies and procedures, responsible for the operation of Project, including recruitment, implementation programs, processes, and outcome evaluation of the project. Liaison with national cooperative working group as required.

Position involves working on longitudinal studies investigating maternal lifestyle, mood, substance use, and smoking during pregnancy and infant behavior. Primary responsibilities involve interviewing pregnant women, staff training, administrative tasks, budget oversight, IRB submissions, grant progress reports, new submissions, project coordination, and data oversight. Strong interviewing, administrative, planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills preferred. Experience with administration and oversight of NIH grants is preferred. Flexibility with evening hours is needed. Position involves working within multidisciplinary research team. Must have experience with research.
