Job Summary:

The Director, Digital Processing Validation positions offers the right candidate an exciting opportunity to support Software Validation and processes of our Digital Processing Services growing business within Conduent. This position combines the administrative and strategic tasks associated with software and system validation including controls and reporting. This fast growing, dynamic environment could provide the right candidate with the opportunity to grow his/her career in a number of directions.

This direct-hire full-time position is located in the R/DU, NC region and will report directly to the VP of Global Testing Services and will execute and refine (CSI) the existing test methodology for our Digital Processing platform, as well as be a driving force in standardization and institutionalization of process and quality excellence across the portfolio of Client Applications. This position interfaces with all levels of employees and clients in a confident and positive way, and will perform related tasks as assigned by the executive leader. This position will also be responsible for managing an integrated team consisting of employees, consultants and service delivery partners both onshore and offshore.

Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsible for activities involving designing, implementing, executing and improving the software testing model at an enterprise level for our Digital Processing applications. This will include internal and external client delivery and escalations, applicable regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and company mandated standards related to security and performance. Facilitation and tracking of organizational processes will be required in support of client engagements across the enterprise.

The Director of Digital Processing validation will provide leadership, direction and management of all platform and component validation functions, including functional and integration testing, performance and infrastructure testing, and regression testing. This leader is responsible for ensuring that the test team possesses full knowledge of all platforms and components, and collaborates extensively with the Platform Architecture and Development leaders to provide the maximum level of expertise. This leader will work collaboratively and in coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure the acquired and internally developed platforms and components meet or exceed customer requirements.

The Director of Digital Processing validation will also be responsible for managing an integrated team (onshore and offshore) consisting of employees, consultants and service delivery partners cluding 5 direct reports, plus up to 70 indirect.

• Ensure sufficient and appropriate test personnel and resources to implement the vision of ating secure, dependable and competitive systems which drive client and business successereby delivering results which uce riskd assure Quality, Cost and Delivery.i>
• Lead, develop, execute and facilitate a verification and validation program in coordination with the Test Architecture and Optimization leaders, leveraging all available test automation and appropriate reuse strategies.
• Coordinate with the Platform Lead management to ensure the test methodology is fully executed and sufficient resources are available to maintain commitments to the business and their customer base. Prioritization, creativity and optimization of resources will be required to address complex schedules and conflicting priorities.
• Actively manage the performance and skill sets of Platform Leader resources to ensure the team possesses adequate knowledge of the platforms and components, client requirements, Global Testing Services test architecture, methedology and philosophy, and available tools and infrastructure to fully verify and validate components and systems prior to adoption by project teams.
• Identify skills and tools training needs; work closely with Test Lab, Test Tools, and Test Architecture and Optimization teams to develop and deliver training
• Collect, report, verify, validate and maintain test execution metrics (related KPIs, cost of quality). Analyze defect rates, assess risk to program QCDs. Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Requirements:

• BS in engineering and or computer science or related technical discipline.
• Ten (10+) plus yearsperience as Project Manager or Program Manager in a large organization
• Ten (10+) plus years of Quality Management experience with a focus on requirements-driven system verification and validation.
• Eight (8+) years in leadership positions with increasing responsibility. Leads by example, motivates employees, empowers staff, recognizes and rewards outstanding performers.
• A balanced level of experience in systems quality, hardware quality and software quality.
• Should possess a remarkable high-contributor performance record with progression of increased responsibility with identifiable achievements which impact the bottom line and a passion to inspire, and build high performing teams
• Has wide-ranging knowledge and experience base in software development, program management, quality assurance, etc. in their repertoire.
• Experience in a global resource environment with the ability to work effectively and comfortably in a diverse environment
• Is professionally savvy, has business acumen and is viewed as a role model within the organization.
• Experience in requirements management and traceability and client acceptance management using industry tools such as JIRA, ClearQuest, Team Foundation Server (TFS), HP/MS/IBM testing tools and open source testing tools.

Preferred/Desired:

• Experience in Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) using Agile
• Experience as Test Manager/Director, Software Development Manager or technical Project Manager in large organizations
• Experience managing large onshore/offshore team
• Experience using industry tools such as Rational, Jenkins, SonarQube, AppDynamics to management requirements traceability, performance and automation
• Execution, automation Experience related to continuous build, code promotion, test, security and performance
• Certified Six Sigma and/or Lean Systems Certification
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt
• MBA, PMP
