Description Sr. Director of Engineering
Reporting to the VP of Engineering, the Director, Engineering will be a senior technology leader. Successful candidates will be person who is committed to performance, can handle multiple projects under varying priorities, a very pleasant personality who can work with engineers by rolling up their sleeves.
Job Description Serve as primary architectural authority for all engineering driven solutions
Lead daily software development effort, including all required monitoring and reporting progress against critical product roadmap timelines and milestones
Ensure forward thinking in core technical competencies such as scale and quality
Ensure optimal application of technology resources to meet product development requirements
Ensure quality scalability and security of core product and platforms
Manage multiple parallel development work streams from concept to design and implementation and ongoing refinement
Clearly articulate technology to business leaders and executives
Collaborate with business team, customer support and other stake holders.

Experience - Proven track record of 15+ years of progressive engineering experience, with 8+ years in a significant leadership position managing large tech teams (
30 people) that designed, developed, and launched complex software solutions. * Bachelor Masters Degree(s) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical area.
- Experience driving multiple development teams in an aggressive, Agile environment.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, motivating and retaining talented Engineers
- Experience building large scale enterprise applications; Open Source
and relational database expertise; * Experience across a broad spectrum of applications and languages (C++,Java, Javascript, Linux, multiple databases)
- BS or MS degree holder in Computer Science
