Reporting to the Senior Vice President Organizational Development, the Director of Learning and Organizational Effectiveness will be responsible for designing and implementing a global talent, performance, and learning and development roadmap to support the strategic direction and objectives of the company. This includes the assessment of developmental needs, design and facilitation of programs and processes, presentation of material, vendor management and administration of the entire talent, performance and learning process within the global organization across multiple functional areas (e.g., sales, IT, operations, etc.).
Your day to day role will include:
- Lead the annual strategic planning process for Global Performance, Talent, Engagement and Learning & Development.
- Lead, coach, and develop learning and organization development team members.
- Gain trust and traction for organization development programs as a credible and trusted adviser and subject matter expert.
- Design and implement a global L&D roadmap with programs to support evolving organizational requirements with the goal to enhance the effectiveness of leaders, individuals and teams, increase organizational capacity, and accelerate business progress on strategic initiatives.
- Ensure programs and initiatives are aligned with company policies, processes, practices, core values/culture and business strategies.
- Lead and partner on initiatives to drive a culture of engagement and instill our mission, vision, and values.
- Demonstrate understanding of business products, strategies, priorities, customers, and operating environments. Collaborate with Operations leaders and HR Business Partners to develop our talent in progressive ways that reflects our strategic plans.
- Partner with HR leaders on an integrated talent management strategy by coordinating talent processes and technologies including succession, skill and leadership assessments, and retention planning.
- Lead benchmarking and assessment of performance management processes and procedures.
- Continue to improve the organization's performance evaluation process.
- Provide strategic oversight to the company's talent, performance and learning management system, ensuring strong linkage with HRIS and IT functionality.
- Provide oversight to the management of vendors to support organizational requirements as appropriate.i>
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organization Development, Education, Business Administration or equivalent required.
- Ten years' experience in leadership education/organization development with at least five years in a management/leadership role.
- Experience with and understanding of adult learning and adult learning processes, including strong instructional design skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen as it relates to transferring organizational goals and direction into education and development activities that drive change.
- Keen analytical ability demonstrated by the ability to analyze and respond to needs and to measure outcomes. Demonstrated ability to evaluate, understand and respond to the needs of the customer.
- Strong written and oral communication skills with all organization levels.
It would be great if you also have:
- Master's degree in Organization Development is preferred.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
